Neal McKinnon
BIO
Neal is a physiotherapist at Parkwood Institute working on the inpatient spinal cord injury program. He completed his Masters of Physical Therapy and PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University. Neal also teaches part-time in the School of Physical Therapy at Western as a guest lecturer and clinical consultant.

Since beginning at Parkwood in 2018, Neal has worked across multiple neurological rehabilitation programs including inpatient SCI, outpatient SCI and stroke. His research interests are centered around enhancing patient-centered care and improving intensity of therapy and quality of life for persons after neurological injury. During his spare time, Neal is an avid rock climbing and ultimate frisbee player. He volunteers his time as an assistant coach for the Western University varsity ultimate team.
