Charlie Giurleo
BIO
Charlie is an Occupational Therapist in the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program at Parkwood Institute Main St. Joseph’s Health Care London. He has had over 10 years of experience working as an occupational therapist in neurological, musculoskeletal and mental health rehabilitation. Charlie strongly believes in the importance of clinical and research integration, as he feels collaboration undoubtedly leads to enhanced patient care in spinal cord injury rehabilitation.

Charlie is involved in a number of quality improvement projects throughout Regional Rehabilitation program, and has a particular interest in implementation of best practice guidelines. Â Charlie has completed a course through the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Sexual Health Rehabilitation. Of note, he has also co-led the development and implementation of Sexual Health Practice across rehabilitation programs at Parkwood. Outside of Parkwood, Charlie enjoys travelling, sports and hiking. He also recently discovered his love for heavy metal music and enjoys kicking back to the sounds of Steel Panther and Metallachi. Â As a native Montrealer, he is a loyal Montreal Canadiens fan. His heart bleeds bleu, blanc et rouge.
