Thuvaraha Jeyakumaran, First Place Overall Poster Winner:

Thuvaraha took home the top honors in the overall poster competition for their work on the implementation of Health Equity Impact Assessments (HEIA) in the development of Possibilities Project Plus. This initiative, a free assistive technologies marketplace and information hub for individuals with disabilities, represents a significant leap forward in enhancing accessibility and support for the community.


Stephanie R. Cimino, Spinal Cord Injury ISIG Early Career Award Recipient:

Meanwhile, Stephanie secured the Spinal Cord Injury ISIG Early Career Award for their research on social isolation after spinal cord injury. This work sheds light on the challenges faced by individuals dealing with spinal cord injuries and underscores the importance of addressing social isolation as a key aspect of rehabilitation.
